We repair and service O, Standard, S, and HO model trains.
General Locomotive Service includes some of the following:
- Complete Dis-assembly and Re-assembly where necessary
- Clean wheels
- Remove old grease in gear boxes where needed and replace with new grease
- Clean brushes, brush sockets, commutator bars where applicable.
- Clean and/or lubricate bearings where necessary.
Coupler Repairs or Replacements
- Kadee style couplers and adjust trip pins.
- Lionel knuckle couplers, springs, rivets.
- American Flyer knuckle or link couplers.
E-unit/Reverse Unit Service on O27, Standard and S Gauge Trains includes some of the following:
- Dis-assembly and Re-assembly where necessary
- Remove old worn out brass contacts where needed and replace with new.
- Adjust angle of plunger claw.
- Replace broken drum if necessary.
DCC Decoder Installation includes some of the following:
- Dis-assembly and Re-assembly where necessary
- Rewiring of locomotive if necessary.
- Quick installation for DCC ready locos.
- Many Digitrax decoders in stock.
Rates
- $40.00 per hour.
- Parts are extra.
- General Servicing is about 1 hour depending on the locomotive.
- Coupler repairs take about 1/4 hour depending the locomotive or car.
